MOTIONS OF COUNCIL Support Resolution re: Bill 9 - End Age Discrimination Against Stroke Recovery
Aquatic Centre Update - Geotechnical and Environmental Soils Review BE IT RESOLVED THAT in light of the preliminary findings from the soils investigation reflected in the WSP Memo dated November 16, 2016, Council removes the Highway 655 site from further consideration as a location for the proposed Aquatics Centre Complex and directs that no further investigation work be conducted on this property.
TEDC/Tourism Relocation and Museum Expansion BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council supports proceeding with the museum expansion project at a cost of $1,086,598 with $524,049 being funded by the Canada Culture Spaces Program (firmed), $39,000 from the Museum Reserve Account and the remaining $523,549 being funded by an account to be determined by Council
