MOTIONS OF COUNCIL Timmins Festival and Events Committee - Rock on the River re: Noise Exemption BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council does hereby approve a request by The Timmins Festival and Events committee for an exemption to the City of Timmins Noise By-law 2006-6339 for Rock on the River Event to be held on July 27th and 28th, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. at the Mountjoy Conservation Area Park.
Algonquin ONR Bridge and Snowmobile Crossing Report BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council does hereby accepts option 2 of the ONR Bridge and Snowmobile Crossing Report and approves the detail design for that phase of the connecting link to proceed.
2018 Fleet Program BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council does hereby accepts the 2018 fleet program and approves the recommendation of the purchase of the equipment listed in the report

Brunette Road for Stars and Thunder BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council does hereby approve converting Brunette Road from the intersection of Algonquin Blvd to Second Ave into a southbound one-way street for the designated 13 day period, from 8:00 am on June 21 until 6:00pm on July 3rd, 2018, in order to accommodate traffic and pedestrian flows for the Stars & Thunder Festival and; FURTHER that the intersection of Brunette at Second Avenue be converted to a 3 way stop during the above mentioned timeframe in order to facilitate the safe passage of all vehicular traffic at this intersection.
Stars and Thunder Festival as Municipally Significant and Noise Exemption BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council does hereby approve that the Stars and Thunder Festival is a municipally significant event within the City of Timmins and; FURTHER that Council does hereby approve a request by the Stars & Thunder Committee for an exemption to the City of Timmins Noise By-law 2006-6339 for the week of the Stars &Thunder Festival to be held from June 24th, 2018 to July 1st, 2018, at the Hollinger Park (Fred Salvador Park). AND FURTHER THAT an exemption to the City's noise By-Law 2006- 6339 from June 24th to June 30th be from 11:00pm to 1:00am to permit this community festival. AND FURTHER THAT an exemption to the City's noise By-Law 2006- 6339 for July 1st, 2018 be from 11:00pm to 2:00am to permit this community festival.
