The Great Canadian Kayak Challenge and Festival BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council approves a request for an exemption to the City of Timmins Noise by-law 2006-6339 from 11pm to 2pm for the 11th Annual Great Canadian Kayak Challenge and Festival on August 23rd and 24th, 2019 at the Mountjoy Historical Conservation Area Park (former Participark) AND FURTHERMORE THAT Council approves holding of a firework display on Saturday, August 24th to be launched between the hours of 9:00 pm and 9:30pm lasting 15 to 20 minutes. AND FURTHER THAT Council approves closing Riverside Drive from Theriault Boulevard to Norman Street from 8:30pm to 11:00pm on Saturday, August 24th to accommodate the firework display.
