Touch a truck Literacy event re: Street Closure BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council supports the Touch a Truck Event in Timmins and supports closing Second Avenue from Spruce Street to Brunette Road on Saturday, September 19, 2020 from 8:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. AND FURTHER THAT the City provide barricades to assist with the road closure and extra garbage containers AND FURTHER THAT a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Timmins Fire Department, Timmins Police Service, Public Works, Maintenance Department and Timmins Transit.
Knights of Columbus - Toll Booth BE IT RESOLVED THAT COUNCIL approves the Knights of Columbus to have a 'Toll Booth' on Main Street and Bruce Avenue in South Porcupine on May 23, 2020 for Muscular Dystrophy of Canada. AND FURTHER THAT liability insurance in the amount of $5 million dollars be provided naming the City of Timmins as additional named insured. AND FURTHER THAT Public Works, Timmins Police Service, Timmins Fire Department and Timmins Transit be notified of this event.
Timmins and District Hospital Foundation Gala re: Logos projected on McIntyre Head Frame BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council allows the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation to project their logo on the McIntyre Headframe from May 18th, 2020 and until their annual gala on May 24, 2020.
