Waiving of Interest on Property Taxes WHEREAS the COVID-19 public health situation is having an economic impact on the livelihood of residents and businesses in the City of Timmins THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the City of Timmins hereby authorizes the Treasurer to waive interest fees, charges and penalties on property taxes and water and sewer for the duration of the crisis.
2020-8416-Agreement with Pollard Highway Products re: Supply and Application of liquid Dust Suppressant BE IT RESOLVED That by-law 2020-8416 being a by-law to authorize an agreement with Pollard Highway Products regarding the supply, delivery and application of liquid dust suppressant at various locations throughout the City of Timmins for a two year contract in the amount of $ 277,550.00 plus HST be given third and final reading and be enacted and passed.
2020-8419-Agreement with the Ministry of Transportation re: Gas Tax Funding Public Transportation Program BE IT RESOLVED THAT by-law 2020-8419 being a by-law to authorize an agreement with Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Ontario as represented by the Minister of Transportation for funding provided under the dedicated gas tax funds for public transportation program be given third and final reading and be enacted and passed.
