Request for report on Temporary Speed Reduction on Mountjoy BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council request a report from Public Works and Engineer Department regarding Temporary Speed Reduction on Mountjoy.
Winter Sidewalks BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council approves the recommendation from the Public Works Department by approving the attached appendix A indicating the winter maintained sidewalks and appendix B indicating the sidewalks closed in the winter months.
Ontario Waterpower Association WHEREAS the Ontario Waterpower Association was founded in 2001 to represent the common and collective interests of the province's original green energy sector - waterpower; AND WHEREAS Waterpower is the original community power - embedded in dozens of villages, towns, Indigenous communities and cities across Ontario; AND WHEREAS Community waterpower projects create social, political, environmental, economic and technological benefits THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council supports the Ontario Waterpower Association by signing the attached Charter, declaring June 20th Waterpower Day and considering OWA Community Membership.
Partnership with United Way for Timmins Youth Wellness Hub BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council approves entering into a 2020-2021 Partnership Agreement between the United Way Centraide North East Ontario and the Corporation of the City of Timmins, as per the attached agreement.
