Declaration of Surplus Land for Public Sale - 84 Bruce Avenue BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council declared the subject land, 84 Bruce Avenue, as surplus to the needs of the municipality and offers the property for public sale.
2021 Census of Population BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Corporation of the City of Timmins supports the 2021 Census, and encourages all residents to complete their census questionnaire online at www.census.gc.ca. Accurate and complete census data support programs and services that benefit our community.
Winter Fun Events BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council approves a request from Downtown Timmins BIA for street closure on Third Avenue from Pine Street South to Cedar Street South on Saturday, March 20, 2021 from 6:00 am until 5:00 pm for Winter Fun Events. AND FURTHER THAT the City provide barricades for road closure. AND FURTHER THAT liability insurance in the amount of $5,000,000 be provided, naming the City as additional named insured. AND FURTHER THAT a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Timmins Police Service, the Timmins Fire Department, Public Works Department and Timmins Transit.

2021 Budget BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council approves a City of Timmins net operating budget of $35,603,495.00 and a net capital budget of $8,228,111.00 for a total city net expenditure budget of $43,831,606.00 AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT Council approves the budget of the other funds for POA, Fleet, Airport and Parking as presented AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT Council hereby approves the budget of the Mattagami Region Conservation Authority, the Cochrane District Social Services Administration Board, the Timmins Police Services, the Porcupine Health Unit and the Timmins Public Library as approved by their respective Boards.
