Transit Service Reduction BE IT RESOLVED THAT Council approve the implementation of reduced municipal transit service level from June to August2022 to allow for summer holidays.
3 on 3 Basketball Tourney re: Street Closure BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the City of Timmins hereby agreed to close Third Avenue form Birch Street to Maple Street on Saturday, August 6, 2022 from 7:00 am until5:00 pm for the 3 on 3 Basketball Tourney. FURTHER THAT the City provide 2 large garbage containers and 2 large recycling containers. AND FURTHER THAT the Downtown Timmins BIA provide the City of Timmins with an insurance certificate in the amount of 5million dollars naming the City of Timmins as an additional insured. AND FURTHER THAT a copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Timmins Police Service, Timmins Fire Department, Timmins Transit, Timmins Public Works Department and the Timmins Maintenance Department.
